       acres more or less according to the Certificate of Survey & Patent
       thereof together with its appurtenances To have & to hold unto
       him the said Charles Carroll his heirs and assigns for ever all
       the af.d Tract of Land called Onions Boggy Island with all
       and Singular the advantages and appurtenances thereof thereon
       or thereto in any ways belonging or appurtaining well and
       sufficiently warranted and for ever Defended by him the
       Said Stephen Onion and his heirs unto him the Said Charles
       Carroll his heirs and assigns for ever as well against him the
       said Stephen Onion as against all manner of persons of by
       from or under him Claiming In Witness whereof & the
       foregoing premisses the said parties to these presents have
       Interchangeably set their hands and seals this fifth Day of
       June in the year of our Lord God one thousand seven hundred
       forty and six
       Sealed & Delivered in                           Stephen Onion   Seal

                                        On the back of the aforegoing
       W.m Smith            Deed was thus Endorst Viz.t
       June 5.th 1746   Then Came before us two of his Lordships
       Justices of the peace for Baltimore County the within
       mentioned Stephen Onion and acknowledged the within Deed
       & the lands & premisses therein mentioned to be the right &
       Estate of Charles Carroll of Annapolis Chyrurgeon his
       heirs & assigns forever according to the act in that Case made
