171) Received of the within M.r Rock three pounds four Shillings Sterling for the use of the right Honble the Lord Baltimore being ^for^ the alienation fine on the within sixteen hundred acres of Land this 24.th June 1746 6 Recorded June 24.th 1746 Benj.a Tasker Ex.d This Indenture made the twenty fifth Day of June Anno Dom one thousand Seven hundred and forty Six Between George Rock of Cecil County Merchant of the one part and Thomas Bladen of the City of Annapolis Esquire of the other part Witnesseth that the said George Rock for and in consideration of the sum of five hundred and Sixty Pounds Sterling to him the said George Rock in hand paid by the said Thomas Bladen at or before the ensealing & Delivery of these presents the receipt whereof the said George Rock Doth hereby acknowledge and of every part and parcell hereof Doth hereby acquit exonerate and Discharge the Said Thomas Bladen his Executors Administrators and assigns Hath bargained Sold aliened transferred & Confirmed and by these presents Doth bargain sell alien transfer and confirm unto the Said Thomas Bladen his heirs & assigns all those two Severall Tracts or parcells of Land the one called Lynes Tents now lying & being in Baltimore County containing one thousand Acres more or less the other called Lynes Addition Scituate lying & being in the Same Baltimore County containing Six hundred Acres more or less with all & every the appurtenances thereto belonging To have & to hold the said two tracts of Land (with) |
