       Be it remembered that the within named Thomas Smith
       Jun.r Came before me the Subscribers one of his Lordships
       Justices of the Provincial Court and acknowledged the
       within Deed according to Law at the same time Came before
       Me Sophia his Wife who being privately Examined out of
       the hearing of her husband Declared that She made
       over all her right title claim and Interest of the within
       Lands freely Voluntarily and without any threats or
       Compulsion from her husband May 22.d 1746

       Received of the within M.r John Hall for the use of the
       right Honble the Lord Propry Eleven Shillings Sterling
       ^being^ for the alienation fine of the within Lands

Ex.d    This Indenture made the twenty third Day of June
       in the year of our Lord Seventeen hundred and forty six
       Between Thomas Bladen of the City of Annapolis
       in Annarundel County Esquire of the one part and
       George Rock of Cecil County Merchant of the other
       part Witnesseth that for and in consideration of the
       Sum of five Shillings Current Money to the Said Tho.s
       Bladen in hand paid by the said George Rock at or before
       the Sealing & Delivery of these presents the receipt whereof
       is hereby acknowledged he the Said Thomas Bladen
       hath Bargained and Sold and by these presents doth
       bargain and Sell unto the Said George Rock all those two
       Severall Tracts or parcells of Land the one Called Lynes
       Tents now scituate lying and being in Baltimore County
