       Ann Arundel fs   On the 6.th of January 1745 Came the within
       Named Mathew Elliott & Acknowledged the Lands and premisses
       Mentioned in the within Deed to be the Right & Estate of the within
       mentioned Mathew Baker his Heirs and Assigns for ever and at
       the same time Came Mary Elliott the wife of the said Mathew
       Elliott who being Examined out of the Hearing of her said Husband
       Did Declare that she Freely & Voluntarily Gave her
       Consent thereto without any Compulsion of her s.d Husband

Ex.d      This Indenture made this Twenty Seventh
       Day of November in the Year of our Lord One Thousand
       Seven Hundred & forty five Between Rich.d Gresham
       of Kent County in the Province of Maryland of
       the one part & Solomon Wooden of Ann Arundel County
       in the Province af.d of the other part Witnesseth that
       the said Rich.d Gresham for & in Consideration that the
       said Solomon Wooden hath according to Law Conveyed
       & made over unto the said Gresham all his Right
       title Interest claim & Demand of in & to the Moyte of a
       Certain tract of land called Brothers Annex on lying
       in Talbott County in the Province af.d but now called
       Kent County Wherewith the said Gresham Declares himself
       to be fully Contented & Satisfyed hath & by these presents
       doth give grant bargain sell ^alien^ enfeoffe convey and
       Confirm unto him the said Solomon Wooden his Heirs
       & Assigns for ever all that tract or parcell of Land
       called Greshams Colledge lying on the South West
       branch of a River called Bush River & beginning at
       a bounded Oak standing in a level being a bounded
