       Memorandum on this Day to witt the fifth Day of October one
       Thousand Seven hundred and forty five came before us the Subscribers
       two of his Lordships Justices of Annarundel County Court the within
       named Rob.t Langford and acknowledged the within instrument
       to be his Act and Deed and the Land and premisses therein mentioned
       to be the right of the within named Thomas Hutchcraft his heirs
       and assigns for ever according to the true intent and meaning of the
       within Deed and the Act of Assembly in that Case made and
       Provided taken and acknowledged before us

                                  Then received of the within Thomas Hutchcraft for
       the use of the right Honourable the lord Bal.t two Shillings

Ex.d This Indenture made this Second Day of September In the year
       of our Lord one thousand Seven hundred and forty five Between John
       Digges of Prince Georges County Gent of the one part & Charles
       Carroll Esq.r of the City of Annapolis of the other part Witnesseth
       that the said John Digges for and in consideration of the sum of one
       hundred Eighty three Pounds ninteen Shilling Sterling to him in
       hand paid before the Sealing and Delivery of these presents the
       receipt whereof the said John Digges doth hereby acknowledge
       and thereof acquit and Discharge the Said Charles Carroll
       his Exr.s Adm.rs and assigns Hath given granted bargained &
       Sold and by these presents Doth give grant bargain & Sell
       unto the Said Charles Carroll his heirs & assigns All that Tract
