       Reference thereto being had Now this Indenture Witnesseth that
       the said Mich.l Taylor & Margrett his Wife for & in Consideration of the s.d
       Sum of two hundred & fifty two Pounds Sterling money as also for & in
       Consideration of the further Sume of Sixty Seven Pounds four Shillings &
       Eleven Pence Sterling money of Great Britain by the said Charles Carroll
       at & before the Ensealing & Delivery of these Presents to them in hand
       Paid & Satisfyed the Receipt whereof they do ^hereby^ Acknowledge Compleating
       in the whole the Sume of three hundred & Nineteen Pounds four
       Shillings & Eleven Pence Sterling money of great Britain & thereof
       & from Every Part & Parcell thereof do Acquit & Discharge him the
       Said Charles Carroll his heirs Ex.rs & Adm.rs & also for & in Consideration
       of the Sume of five Shillings Sterling money of Great Britain to
       them in hand Paid & Satisfyed at & before the Ensealing & Delivery
       of these Presents Have Released Remised Quit Claime and
       Confirmed & by these Presents doth remise release Quit Claim
       & Confirm unto him the said Charles Carroll all the Right Title
       Interest Claim & Demand of him the said Mich.l Taylor & Margrett
       his wife Either in Law or Equity to any redemption or Reconveyance
       of the said two Tracts of Land Called Barbadoes & Part of Scotland
       together with any Survey or Survey's by the said Mich.l made
       betwixt the said two tracts of Land or on his Dwelling Plantation
       as also the tract of Land Called Addition to Charly Forrest together
       with all & Singular the Appurtenances To have & to hold to him
       the said Charles Carroll his heirs & Assigns for ever to his & their
       Proper use & behoof & us Other use meaning or Intent whatsoever
       the said Tract of Land Called Barbadoes Containing two hundred
       Acres & Two hundred & fifty Acres Part of Scotland with any
       Survey or Surveys by the said Mich.l made betwixt or on his said
       Dwelling Plantation as also all the af.d Part of Addition to Charly
       Forrest Containing twelve hundred & Seventy Acres of Land
       Together with all the Houses Fencing Orchards Profitts Emoluments
       Appurtenances & Advantages on the said Lands or any of them
       being belonging or Appurtaining & the said Mich.l Taylor &
       Margrett his Wife Doth for them & their heirs Covenant grant &
       Agree to & with him the said Charles Carroll that from this time
       forward & at all times hereafter he the said Charles Carroll his
       heirs & Assigns for ever Shall & may Peaceably Have Hold
       & Enjoy all & Singular the said Tracts of Land Called Barbadoes
