          May 8 1744
       Then came before me the Subscriber Chief Justice of the Provincial Court Edmund
       Jenings the Subscribing Witness to the within deed and the severall Indorsements
       and made Oath on the holy Evangels of Almighty God that he did see the within named
       Elinor Gooch sign Seal and deliver the within deed and the Indorsement of a
       Power of Attorney and also sign the Indorsed Receipt and at the same time
       Daniel Dulany Esq.r mentioned in the above Indorsement the Power of Attorney
       Acknowledged before me the s.d Subscriber by Virtue of the said Power of Attorney  
       the within deed to be the Act and deed of the within named Elinor Gooch agreable
       to the Act of Assembly in such Cases

       Received of George Plater Esquire for the Use of the Right honble the Lord
       Baltimore fifteen Shillings Sterling for the Alienation Fine of 400 Acres of
       Land in Belchers Neck and 1100 Acres in Scotch Neck Part of Resurrection
       Mannor as also three Shillings and four Pence Sterling for one third of 500
       Acres for his Right to Grantham I say received P me

Ex.d This Indenture made the eighteenth Day of August in the
       Year of our Lord seventeen hundred and forty four Between William
       Worthington Jun.r of Baltimore County in the Province of Maryland
       Gentleman of the one Part & his Father John Worthington
       of the County of Ann.ll in the Province aforesaid Merchant of the other
       Part Witnesseth that the said William Worthington Jun.r for and in
       Consideration of the Sum of Four hundred Pounds Sterling Money
       of Great Britain to him in Hand paid by the said John Worthington
       the Receipt whereof he the said William Worthington Jun.r doth
       hereby acknowledge hath given granted bargained sold aliened enfeoffed
       & confirmed & by these Presents he the said William Worthington
       Jun.r for himself his ^Heirs^ Executors & Administrators Doth give grant
       bargain sell alien enfeoff & confirm unto the said John Worthington
       his Heirs & Assigns for Ever all that Tract or Parcel of
                                                                                  (Land)
