       Parish of S.t James Westminster in the County of Middlesex
       Widow & Coheirs of the Lands of John Andrews late of Ann
       Arundel County in the Province of Maryland Planter deced
       of the one Part & William Thornton of Ann Arundell County
       & Province af.d Merchant of the other Part Whereas the said
       Thomas Harper & Cecilia his Wife Elianor Horton & Sarah
       Caulton (in their Capacities af.d) by their Procuration or
       Letter of Attorney to the said John Hunter bearing Date at
       London the twenty Second Day of February in the Year of
       our Lord One thousand Seven hundred & Forty three duely
       proved & entered on Record in the Secretary's Office of Maryland
       in Lib E I N.o 3 folio 508 relation being thereunto had may
       appear among other things impowered the said John Hunter
       to Grant bargain sell assign transferr alien release
       Enfeoffe & set over by all lawfull Ways & means whatsoever all
       or any of the Lands Tenements & Plantations Stock Slaves
       Negroes Goods Chattles Estate & Effects whatsoever belonging
       & of Right appurtaining to them the said Constituants to
       any Person or Persons whatsoever & ^to and^ for the most & best
       Prices & Advantage their said Attorney could get or Procure
       for the same & to that End to make sign seal duely Execute &
       Deliver all Such Acts Deeds Writings Conveyances & Assurances
       in the Law as should be requisite & Necessary for the more
       Effectual assigning & Conveying the same & to appear at any
       Court or Courts in the Province of Maryland ^aforesaid^ & in the Name
       of them the said Constituants (in the Quality af.d) any
       Deed or Deeds so made signed sealed executed & Delivered as
       aforesaid to acknowledge & to receive & take the Consideration
       Money & Purchase for the same Now this Indenture witnesseth
       that the said John Hunter (by Virtue of the Procuration
       or Letter of Attorney aforesaid) for & in Consideration of
       the Sum of Fifteen pounds Sterling Money of Great Britain
       to him in hand paid by the said William Thornton to & for
       the Use of the said Thomas Harper & Cecilia his Wife Elianor
