50) 19.th July 1738 Then reced of John Brice the Sum of fifty five pounds Sterling Money Sterl being the Consideration Money within Mentioned £55.0 0 Edm Jenings Attor in fact for W.m Woodward & Mary Holmes John Galloway Attorney in fact of Eliz.a Ginn 19.th July 1738 Then reced of John Brice One Penny Sterling being the alienation fyne on the within mentioned Lott of Land for the Use of Right Honble the Lord Baltimore I say reced 15 sides Benj.a Tasker Recorded July 19.th 1738 Ex.d By this Publick instrument of Procuration or Letter of Attorney be it known & Manifest to all those who shall see these Presents or Swear the same Read that on the first day of March in the Year of our Lord One thousand seven hundred & thirty seven and in the Eleventh Year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the Second by the Grace of God of Great Britain France & Ireland King Defender of the faith & so forth Before me James Clement Notary and Tabellion Publick dwelling in London by Royal Authority duely admitted & sworn and Witnesses Personally appeared M.r John Taillor of London Merchant who declared to have revoked annulled & made void & by these presents doth revoke annull & make Void all former & other Procurations or Letters of Attorney by him at any time heretofore made or given to any Person or Persons Whatsoever to the Effect of these Presents And did further Declare to have made ordained Constituted authorized and appointed & by these presents doth make ordain Constitute authorize & Appoint Taillor Higginson of Maryland Merchant his true & Lawfull Attorney Giving and by these Presents Granting unto his said Attorney full Power & lawfull Authority for him the said Constituant in his Name & to his use to ask demand levy sue for recover and receive of and from all and Every or any Person or Persons whatsoever whom it shall or may Concern inhabiting in Maryland af.d all and Every Such Sum and Sums of Money Goods Wares Merchandizes Effects Estate and things whatsoever which now are or which shall or may be hereafter be due owing belonging or in any wise Appertaining unto him the said Constituant whether by bond Note Bills Book Debt Account Rent or Arrears of Rent Consignment Contract |
