471) On the Back of the aforegoing Deed was thus Endorst Viz.t 1743 January the 30.th Received of and from the within named Samuel Howard the full sum of sixty pounds sterling money of Great Britain being the Consideration money within mentioned Test P me Tho.s Lusby Jun.r ster Tho.s Howard (£ 60 0 0) January the 30.th 1743 Then Came the within named Thomas Howard before me Robert Gordon Esq.r one of his Lordship's Provincial Justices and acknowledged the within Deed according to Law Robert Gordon Feb.r y.e 3.d 1743 Then reced of the within named Samuel Howard the sum of thirteen Shillings and Eleven pence half penny Ster money for the use of the Lord Baltimore the same being for Alienation fine on the one third part of Porters Hills and Howards Inheritance and the whole of the Luckey Adventure I say reced P Benj.a Tasker Recorded Feb.ry the 3.d 1743 1/2 Ex.d This Indenture made the Eighth Day of February in the Year of our Lord God Seventeen hundred and forty three Between Samuel Howard of Ann Arundel County in the Province of Maryland Planter Eldest Son and heir at Law to samuel Howard late of the said County Planter Deceased of the one part and John Brice of the County and Province afs.d Gent of the other Part Whereas the afs.d Samuel Howard by his Certain Indenture bearing Date the tenth Day of September Last past did for the Consideration of Two hundred eighty and three pounds Current money to him in hand paid by the said John Brice before the Sealing and Delivery of the afs.d Indenture Give Grant Bargain Sell Alien Enfeoffe and Confirm unto him the said (John) |
