       Land or any part thereof to be at any time hereafter
       Lawfully Evicted or taken away out of the Possession of either of the
       said Parties their Heirs or Assignes Contrary to the True Intent
       & Meaning hereof by any Former Right or Title or by the
       Heirs or Assignes of Either of the said Parties so that the said
       Exchange cannot Continue that then & from thence forth
       the said Gifts Grants & Confirmation in Exchange of Either of
       the said Parties touching the Premisses given & granted in
       Exchange shall be void & of none Effect And then & from thence
       forth it shall & may be lawfull to & for either of the said Parties
       their Heirs or Assignes after such Ejection Eviction or taking
       away of the Possession as af.d to enter into his or their Lands
       so by him or them Given or Granted in Exchange as aforesaid
       & the same to have again as in their former Estate any
       thing herein Contained to the Contrary Notwithstanding
       In Witness whereof the Parties to these Presents to have hereunto
       Interchangeably set their Hands & Seals the Day &
       Year first above written

                           Calvert County fs   That on the 14.th Day of
       November 1743 Came before Us two of his Lordships Justices
       of the Peace for the County af.d the within named Walter
       Smith F.s & acknowledged the within Instrument to be his
       Act & Deed & the Land therein mentioned to be the right and
       Estate of the within named John Smith his Heirs & Assignes
       for Ever At the same time Came Elizabeth the Wife of the said
       Walter Smith F.s & acknowledged all her right of Dower of the
       said Land to be the right of the said John Smith his Heirs &
       Assigns for Ever to the True Intent & Meaning of the within
       Indenture the sid Elizabeth being first Examined out of the
       Hearing of her said Husband according to the Directions of
