454) profits Comodities and advantages thereon or thereunto belonging To have and to hold to the said Vincent Dorsey and his heirs so as that the said Comfort Dorsey or any other Person Claiming from by or under her shall not at any time hereafter have or Challenge any Claim or Demand whatsoever of in or to the Premisses or any part thereof In Witness whereof the said Comfort Dorsey hath to these Presents set her hand and seal the day and Year above Written Comfort Dorsey Seal in the Presence of On the Back of Ch.a Hammond the aforegoing Deed William Fodergill was this Endorst (Viz.t) Charles Hammond of Ann Arundel County Esq.r and William Fodergill of Ann Arundel County make Oath on the holy Evangels that they saw the within named Comfort Dorsey sign seal and Deliver the within Instrument as her Act and Deed for the uses and purposes therein mentioned Taken and Sworn to before this 25.th October 1743 Robert Gordon 4 s.ds Recorded Oct the 29.th 1743 Ex.d This Indenture made this ninth Day of November Anno Domini Seventeen hundred forty and three Between William Peddicoart of Baltimore County Planter of the one part and Philip Hammond of Ann Arundel County Merchant of the other Part Witnesseth that the said W.m Peddicoart for and in Consideration of the sum of one hundred pounds sterling to him in hand paid by the said Philip Hammond the receipt whereof he Doth hereby acknowledge hath given granted Bargained Sold aliened enfeoffed and Confirmed and by these presents Doth give grant Bargain Sell Alien enfeoffe and Confirm unto him the said (Philip) |
