Ex.d This Indenture Tripartite made the Twelfth Day of Sep.t in the Year
       of our Lord one Thousand seven hundred and forty three Between Sarah Owings
       of Baltimore County Widow of the first Part Rich.d Owings of Baltimore
       County Planter of the second part and Gideon Howard of Ann Arundel
       County Planter of the Third part Whereas a Common recovery was had and
       Suffered at a Provincial Court held at Annapolis the Third Tuesday of May
       in the Year of our Lord one Thousand seven hundred and forty three before
       Levin Gale Esq.r Chief Justice and his Associated Justices of the same
       Court of three hundred and Ten Acres of Plantable Land with the appurtenances
       in Ann Arundell County Called Knowle's Purchase wherein the said Gideon
       Howard was demandant and the said Sarah Owings was Tenant who
       Vouched to Warranty the said Richard Owings and he the Common Vouchee
       and Whereupon a Writ of Seisin hath been issued and Executed as by the
       Record and Process of the said Recovery remaining in the Provincial
       Court may appear which same recovery was had to the end and purpose
       that the said Sarah Owings and Richard Owings might be enabled to Convey
       unto the said Gideon Howard his heirs and Assigns for ever an Estate of
       Inheritance in Fee Simple of in and to the said Three hundred and Ten Acres
       of Plantable Land in Ann Arundell County afs.d Called Knowle's Purchase
       with the appurtenances to ^the^ use of him the said Gideon Howard his heirs and
       Assigns forever and to and for no other use intent or purpose whatsoever
       Now this Indenture Witnesseth that the said Sarah Owings and
       Richard for and in consideration of the sum of sixty five pounds Current
       money of Maryland to them in hand paid by the said Gideon Howard the
       receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged Have given granted Bargained
       sold made over and Confirmed and by these Presents Do give grant
       Bargain Sell make Over and Confirm unto the said Gideon Howard the
       said Three hundred and Ten Acres of Plantable Land in Ann Arundel
       County afs.d Called Knowle's Purchase with the appurtenances together
       with all Buildings Improvements Profits Commodities and Advantages
