       August 27.th 1743 Then Came ^before^ Benjamin Young Esq.r one of the Justices
       of the Provincial Court of Maryland the within named ^Robert^ Isreal and
       acknowledged the within Deed according to the Act of Assembly in that
       Case Made & Provided                                          B Young

       20 Septem.r 1743 Reced of the w.thin Charles Carroll Esq.r ten Shillings &
       one Penny Sterl being for the Alienation Fine of one third Part of
       754 Acres of Land as within I say reced for his Lordships Use
       Recorded Sept.r 27.th 1743                     Benj.a Tasker

Ex.d This Indenture made the Second Day of September in the Year
       of our Lord God One thousand Seven hundred forty & three Between
       George Skeyman of Goochland County in the Colony of Virginia
       But heretofore of Baltimore County in the Province of Maryland
       on the one Part & Charles Carroll of the City of Annapolis on the
       other part Witnesseth that the said George Skeyman for & in
       Consideration of the Sum of Fifteen pounds Sterling Money of Great
       Britain to him in hand paid by the said Charles Carroll at & before
       the Ensealing & Delivery of these Presents The Receipt whereof
       he Doth hereby acknowledge & thereof & of every Part & Parcell
       thereof doth acquit & release him the said Charles Carroll his
       Exors Admors & Assigns Hath give Granted Bargained Sold
       aliened Enfeoffed & Confirmed & by these Presents doth Absolutely
       & Freely give grant bargain sell alien Enfeoffe & Confirm unto
       him the said Charles Carroll his Heirs & Assignes for Ever All that
       Tract or Parcell of Land called Skeymans Adventure Situate
       lying & being in Baltimore County af.d granted unto him
       the said George Skeyman the Tenth Day of August One thousand
       Seven hundred & Sixteen for One hundred Acres of Land together
       with all & singular the Woods Underwoods Buildings Orchards
       Fencing & other Appurtenances Profitts & Advantages in upon
       or to the said Tract of Land any ways belonging & appertaining
       To have and To hold unto him the said Charles Carroll his Heirs
       & Assignes for Ever the said tract of Land called Skeymans Adventure
