       Endorst as follows Viz.t         I hereby Declare and acknowledge that I
       stand and am Justly Indebted unto the within named John Philpot and
       Edward Lee in the full and just sum of Twelve hundred seventy three pounds
       seven Shillings and seven pence Sterling

                      Will.m Bakr                           It is intended and agreed that good
                                                                   Bills of Exchange to be Drawn on

       the one Part & James Russell & James Wardrop of Prince Georges
       County Merchants of the other Part Witnesseth that the said
       John Hillary for & in Consideration of the Sum of Four hundred
       pounds Current Money of Maryland to him in hand paid by the
       said James Russell & James Wardrop at & before the Ensealing
       & Delivery of these Presents whereof he Doth hereby acknowledge
