       One Negro Boy named Ned aged about two Years & one Negro Boy
       named Phill about one Year old with their Increase To have & to hold
       the above bargained Negroes & their Increase to the said Alexander
       Lawson & his Heirs for Ever & farther the said Walter Smith farther
       Covenants & Agrees to warrant & Defend the af.d Negroes against  
       the Claims & Pretensions of any person or Persons whatsoever In
       Witness whereof he the said Walter Smith has hereunto set his hand
       & Seale this 11.th Day of July 1743

Ex.d Maryland   To all to whom these presents shall come I W.m Timbrill in the Province af.d
       Merchant send Greeting Know Ye that I the said W.m Timbrill being suddenly intended
       out of this Province I have made ordained constituted and appointed M.r John Bullen
       and Doct.r W.m Murray both of the Province af.d and either of them jointly and severally
       my true and lawful Attorneys & Attorney for me and in my Name & to my Use to ask
       Demand sue for recover and receive all such sum & sums of Money Debts Credits Rents
       and Arrears of Rents and other Goods Wares Merchandizes and Effects whatsoever as
       are or shall be due owing or belonging unto me either in my own Right or in any
       other Right or Capacity w.tsoever by and from any Person or persons for what Cause
       or Reason soever the same may be nothing accepted or Reserved together with all Costs
       Damages and Interests and also (no Occasion shall require) to account conclude
       & agree with any Person or persons indebted & accountable or that shall or may
       be indebted or accountable unto me either in my own or in any other Right or Capacity
