421) Sealed & Delivered June 2.d 1743 In the Presence of Received of the within mentioned Charles Carroll the sum of fifty Geo Buchanan Pounds Sterling as also Caution Tho.s Franklin for the payment of the sum of fifty Pounds Sterling being the Consideration within mentioned I say Received by me John Harryman Witness Geo Buchanan June y.e 2.d 1743 Then Came John Tho.s Franklin Harryman before us two of his Lordships Justices of Baltimore County and acknowledged the within Deed to be his Act and the Land and Premisses therein mentioned to be the Estate Right Title and ^Interest^ of the within mentioned Charles Carroll his heirs and Assigns for ever According to the true Intent and meaning of s.d Deed Acknowledged before Geo Buchanan Vide Harrymans Wifes Acknowledgment Tho.s Franklin recorded afterwards in this book fol 460 June y.e 2.d 1743 Then Reced two Shillings and Eight pence Sterling for an Alienation fine of the within Land for the use of the Lord Baltimore by Order of Benj.a Tasker Esq.r P Tho.s Franklin 8 1/2 Recorded June the 17.th 1743 Ex.d This Indenture made this twenty ninth Day of December in the Year of our Lord one Thousand seven hundred and forty two Between Comfort Dorsey Baltimore County in the Province of Maryland Widow of the one Part, and Greenberry Dorsey of the same County and Province of the other Part, Witnesseth That Whereas the said Comfort Dorsey Doth hold for the Term of her Life one Moyety or half Part of Two Tracts of Land Lying in Ann Arundel County Called Stimpson's Choice & Meriton Fancy which Moyety Contains five hundred and fifty nine Acres with (the) |
