419) Ex.d This Indenture made the Second day of June In the Year of our Lord God one Thousand seven hundred forty and Three By and Between John Harryman of Baltimore County Planter on the one Part, and Charles Carroll of the City of Annapolis Chyrurgeon on the other Part, Witnesseth That the said John Harryman for and in consideration of the sum of one Hundred pounds Sterling money of Great Britain to him in hand paid and Secured to be paid by the said Charles Carroll Hath Given Granted Bargained Sold Aliened Enfeoffed and confirmed and by these Presents Doth give Grant Bargain Sell Alien Enfeoffe and confirm unto him the said Charles Carroll all that Tract or Parcell of Land being Part of a Tract of Land Called Hazard on the North East Creek or Branch of Back River in Baltimore County Conveyed by Michael Rutlidge to him the said John Harryman for fifty Acres Beginning at a bounded White Oak being the Last bounded Tree of the said Land Standing by the Head of A Branch descending into the North East run then running South south West Eighty seven Perches then North west and by West eighty seven Perches until it Intersects with the North No East Line of the said Tract or Parcell of Land then North North East eighty seven Perches to a bounded White Oak and from thence to the Beginning with a Streight Line Containing Fifty Acres of Land As also Ten Acres Part of ^a^ Tract of Land Called Pistole Thickett on the said North east Branch Beginning at a bounded Post near the Mine Bank where Stood a bounded White Oak the first Tree of the said Land and a bounder of Hynes's Purchase and Running thence North East to the Main Road and so along the South side of the said Road Leading into Back River Neck and Likewise all his Right and Share into a Tract or Parcell of Land Called Riverss's Lott granted unto Thomas Riverss on the said North East Branch Together with all the Iron Stone or Ore on the said Pistole Thickett Granted unto Richard Lenox for one hundred Acres the tenth day of April seventeen hundred and fifteen as also all the Iron ore or Ores on his Part of the said Rivess's Lott and on the said fifty Acres part of hazard and Likewise all and Singular the Buildings Orchards woods and Underwoods Profits and Advantages Whatsoever to the said fifty Acres Part of Hazard the said Ten Acres part of Pistole Thicket and his part of Rivess's (Lott) |
