       On the Back of the aforegoing Deed was thus Endorst Viz.t
       Maryland fs.t May the 21.st 1743
                                                             Then Came the within named
       Thomas Egerton William Egerton John Hicks and George Luxford
       before me the Subscriber one of his Lordship's Justices of the Provincial
       Court and acknowledged the within Deed to be their Act and Deed according
       to the form of the Act of Assembly in that Case made and Provided
                                                 Acknowledged before me the day and year
                                                 aforesaid

Ex.d     This Indenture made the second day of June in the year of our
       Lord God one Thousand seven hundred Forty and three By and Between
       Thomas Hines of Baltimore County in the Province of Maryland Planter on the one
       part and Charles Carroll of the City of Annapolis in the said Province Chyrurgeon
       on the other Part Witness^eth^ that the said Thomas Hines for and in Consideration
       of the sum of five pounds Sterling money of Great Britain to him in hand paid
