Ex.d This Indenture made the Nineteenth Day of January in the
       Year of our Lord Seventeen hundred and forty Five Between
       Edward Rumney of the City of Annapolis in Ann Arundell
       County Gen.t of the one Part and Thomas Howard of the said  
       County Planter of the other Part Witnesseth that the said Edward
       Rumney for & in Consideration of the Sum of Sixty pounds Sterling
       Money of Great Britain to him in hand paid by the said Thomas
       Howard at or before the Sealing & Delivery of these Presents to the
       Receipt whereof he the said Edward Rumney doth hereby acknowledge
       & Confess & himself therewith fully Contented paid & satisfyed
       & the said Thomas Howard his Heirs Executors & Administrators
       therefrom doth Clearly and Absolutely acquit & Discharge Hath
       given granted bargained sold released Enfeoffed & Confirmed and
       by these Presents Doth clearly & absolutely Give Grant bargain
       sell release Enfeoffe and Confirm unto the said Thomas Howard
       his Heirs & Assignes for Ever All that Tract or Parcell of Land called
       Lucky Adventure lying in Baltimore County on the West Side of
       Gwins falls Beginning at three bounded White Oakes Standing
       in a Glade descending into a Branch called South Levell branch
       & running thence South West One hundred & forty Perches thence
       West by South Ninety four Perches then South East one hundred
       & forty Eight Perches thence East by North Ninety four Perches
       thence North East One hundred & forty Perches then with a
       Streight line to the Beginning Trees Containing & laid out for
       Two hundred & fifty Acres more or less Together with all Buildings
       Improvements Proffits Benefits & Advantages thereunto belonging
       or in any wise appertaining To have and to hold all &
       Singular the said Tract or Parcell of Land with the Appurtenances
       unto the said Thomas Howard his Heirs & Assignes for Ever to his
