       to be made Between the said John Galloway as attorney in fact
       for the said John Taillor of the one part and the said Jacob Giles
       of the Other Part did for the consideration of the sum of Two hundred
       and ninety pounds Sterling to him in hand paid by the said  
       Jacob Giles to the use of the said John Taillor bargain sell
       make over Enfeoffe and confirm unto the said Jacob Giles
       his heirs and assigns forever All that Tract or parcel of
       Land being Part of a Tract of Land called the Land of Promise
       Granted unto Col.o Thomas Taylor on the second Day of Decem.r
       Sixteen hundred and Eighty four scituate lying and being in
       Baltimore County on the west side of Susquehanna River
       Supposed to be Clear of Water (that is to say) beginning at a bounded
       Red Oak standing upon the Decent of an Hill near to a run
       at the west End of a Parcel of Land formerly taken Up for
       Thomas Grippin Late of the aforesaid County of Baltimore
       called Eightrup and running from thence North and by west
       six hundred Perches to a bounded Gum thence East seventy
       Perches to the said River of Susquehanna thence bounding on
       and with the said Susquehanna River running Down untill
       it intersect the aforesaid Land called Eightrup thence running
       with and Joyning on said Eightrup West three hundred and
       twenty Perches to the first Tree containg seven hundred and      
       twelve Acres Together with all Buildings Improvements
       Proffits Advantages and appurtenances thereunto belonging
       as by the said Deed duely Executed acknowledged and recorded
       in the Secretarys Office of Maryland aforesaid relation
       being thereunto had may more fully and at Large appear
       Now this Indenture Witnesseth that the said
       John Taillor as well for and in consideration of the sum of
       two hundred and ninety Pounds sterling to the said John
       Galloway his attorney in fact in Maryland already in
