       deliver all the aforesaid Records to the next Person or Persons
       succeeding in the said Office in good Order and repair according
       to the true Intent and Meaning of the Act of Assembly in that
       Case made & Provided then the above Obligation to be Void and
       of no Effect otherwise to remain in full force and Virtue

       Evangelists of Almighty God that they saw the within named
       Daniel Dulany Benj.a Tasker & George Plater Esq.r ^severally^ sign Seal
       & as their Act and Deed Deliver the within Bond for the Uses

Ex.d This Indenture made the tenth Day of September in the Year
       of our Lord One thousand Seven hundred & forty Two Between
       John Howell of Kent County Planter of the one Part and
       John Stevens of Kent County af.d Planter of the other Part
       Witnesseth that the said John Howell for and in Consideration
       of the Sum of five Shillings current Money of Maryland
       to him in hand paid by the said John Stevens at or before the
       Ensealing and Delivery of these Presents the Receipt whereof
       is hereby acknowledged Hath bargained and Sold and by
       these Presents do Bargain & sell unto the said John Stevens
       All those Several Tracts of Land lying in Kent County called
       Williamston containing Five hundred Acres of Plantable
       Land one other Tract called the Cove or Coves containing Seventy
       Acres of Plantable Land & one other Tract containing One
       Hundred Acres of Plantable Land with their & every of their
