       formerly given or granted to any Person whatsoever strickly commanding
       and requiring all Persons of what Degree and Condition whatsoever to
       pay ready and due Respect Submission and Obedience to our said
       trusty and wellbeloved Thomas Bladen Esquire as they will
       answer the contrary at their utmost Peril Given at London
       under our Hand and Seal at Arms this nineteenth Day of April
       in the fifteenth Year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord King
       George the second and in the twenty sixth Year of our Dominion
       over the said Provinces Annoq Domini One thousand seven hundred
       and forty two

Ex.d Ann Ar.l County fs.t Know all Men by these Presents that I William
       Hayward of Ann Arundel County Cordwainer in and for the Consideration
       of seven Pound Current Money of this Province to me in Hand paid
       the Receit whereof I do hereby acknowledge before the ensealing and
       Delivery of these Presents Do bargain and sale & deliver unto Paul
       Ruiz of the County af.d Merchant in open Markett two Negro Boys named
       Nick and Ned To have and to hold the said bargain'd Negroes Nick and
       Ned to the said Paul Ruiz his heirs Exors Admors & Assignes for
       ever to his only proper Use and Behoof for ever; I the said William
       Hayward for my self my heirs Ex.ors Adm.ors the said bargain'd Premisses
