315) Merchant his true and Lawfull Attorney for him and in his Name place and Stead to acknowledge these presents as his Act and deed and the Tract of Land aforesaid with the Appurtenances abovementioned to be the Right and Estate of the said Thomas Gough his heirs and assigns for Ever According to the Act of Assembly of the said province in Such Cases made and provided In Witness whereof the said Parties have hereunto interchangeably Sett their Hands and Seals the Day and Year first above Written Tho Colmore Seal On the Back of the aforegoing Deed was thus indorst (Viz.t) Sealed and Delivered (being first duly Stampt) in the presence of Jn.o Carpenter Dan.ll Dulany Jern Bigg June the 26.d 1742 Recorded M W Howard Came before us the Subscribers two of his Lordships Justices of Prince Georges County the Within Named John Chesley and by Virtue of the within written power of Attorney from Thomas Colmore Acknowledged the within Instrument as the Act and deed of the said Thomas Colmore and the Lands and premisses therein mentioned to be the right and Estate of the within mentioned Thomas Gough his heirs and assigns for Ever According to the form of the Act of Assembly in such Case made and provided Richard Keene June the 18.th 1742 Thomas Owen Personally appeared Before the subscriber one of his Lordships Justices of the provincial Court of the province of Maryland John Carpenter and Daniel Dulany two of the Evidences to the within Deed and made Oath on the Holly Evangels of Almighty God that they saw the within named Thomas Colmore Execute the Same According to Law and that they Saw Jern Bigg and M W.m Howard the other two Evidences Subscribe their (Names) |
