Ex.d Maryland fs This Indenture made This Fourteenth day of May
       in the Year of our Lord God one thousand seven hundred and Forty
       Two Between William Ireland of Calvert County and Province
       aforesaid Gentleman and Mary his wife of the One Part and Joseph
       Lane of Ann Arundell County and said Province Gentleman
       of the Other Part Witnesseth that s.d William Ireland and
       Mary his wife for and in Consideration of the Sum of Fifty Pounds
       Sterling money of Great Brittain to them in hand Paid by a
       Certain Samuel Maccubbin Junior late of Baltimore Gent
       deceased (whose Executor and Devisee the af.d Joseph Lane
       was and is) at and before the Ensealing and delivery hereof the
       receipt whereof they the said William and Mary his wife do
       hereby Acknowledge and themselves herewith fully satisfied
       Contented and paid by these Presents have granted bargained and
       sold aliened enfeoffed and confirmed and by these presents do fully
       freely and absolutely Bargain sell alien enfeoff and confirm unto
       him the said Joseph Lane and his Heirs for ever one Moiety of
       a Tract or Parcel of Land called Clackson's Hope being the
       eastermost Part thereof which said Land is scituate and lyes
       in Baltimore County in the Woods between the two Falls of
       Gunpowder River being the Land sold by Edward Reynolds
       of Calvert County Merchant to William Hickman late of said
       County Gent deced and given by said Hickman to the above
       mentioned Mary which said Tract of Land was originally surveyed
       and laid out for six hundred acres of Land more or less together
       with all Trees Timber Trees Woods and underwoods and all Profits
       and Advantages to the said Moiety of the said Clackson's Hope
       belonging or appertaining To have and to hold the afores.d
       easternmost Part of the af.d Tract or Parcel of Land and other
       the Premisses above by these Presents mentioned be the same
