296 William Black and Hannah his Wife have to this present Indenture respectively sett their Hands and Seals the Day and year first above written William seal Black Hannah seal Black On the Back of the aforegoing Deed it was thus Indorsed Sealed and Delivered by the within named William Black and Hannah his wife (being first duely stampt) in the presence of James Dick Daniel Russell Edward Grubb April 16 1742 James Dick and Daniel Russell the subscribing Witnesses to the within written Deed and above Written appeared before me one of his Lordships Justices of the provincial Court of Maryland and made oath on the Holy Evangels severally that they saw William Black and Hannah his Wife the Grantors therein named sign seal and as their act and Deed deliver the same Deed In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand the Day and year afores.d W.m Rogers Memorandum that on the 16.th Day of April 1742 George Gordon in the within Deed of Release named personally appeared before me one of his Lordships the Right Honourable the Lord Proprietary his Justices of the provincial Court of Maryland and by Virtue of the power of attorney in the same Deed contained for and in the name ^and^ on the Behalf of William Black and Hannah his wife the Grantors within named did acknowledge ^as well the same^ the same Deed Deed of Release as the Deed of Bargain and sale for one year referred to therein to be the Act and |
