297 Deed of the same William and Hannah to and for the use of the within named Richard Williams his Heirs and assigns according to the true Intent and Meaning of the same Deed In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand the Day and year abovementioned W.m Rogers April 17.th 1742 Recorded 16 April 1742 Reced of Cap.t Richard Williams four pounds six Shillings & Eleven Pence Ster.l for the use of the Right Honourable the Lord Baltimore being for the alienation fine of the within Lands Benj.a Tasker recorded April 19.th 1742 24 sides Ex.d Know all men by these presents that I Robert Godwin of Portsmouth in Hampshire ^Merchant^ have made ordained and constituted and appointed and by these presents doe make ordain constitute and appoint Robert North of the province of Maryland Merchant my true and lawfull Attorney for me and in my Name and for my use to ask demand & receive of and from all person and persons whatever whom it may Concern all sume and sumes of Money Goods Wares Merchandizes Effects & Things whatever which now are or shall hereafter become due owing payable or belonging to me the said Robert Godwin whether by Bond note Bill Book debt account Consignment or for or by what other Reason or means soever nothing Excepted or Reserved also to state settle and adjust all accounts with all persons and the Ballance or Ballances thereof to Receive And upon non payment thereof the said (person) |
