       December 19.th 1741

       Then Came the within named Sarah Hall Joseph Pumphrey
       & Ann his Wife Saborah Cockey Mark Johnson & Elizabeth
       his Wife Oneal Johnson & Mary his wife before me the Subscriber
       one of his Lordships the right honble the Lord Proprys
       of the Provincial Court of the Province af.d & did severally
       acknowledge the within Indenture to be their each & every
       of their act & acts deed & Deeds & the Lands & Premisses therein
       mentioned to be the Right and Estate of the within named
       John Brice his Heirs and Assignes for ever according to the
       true Intent and Meaning of the same Deed and the Act of
       Assembly in that case made and provided and the said Ann
       the wife of the said Joseph Pumphrey Elizabeth the wife of the
       said Mark Johnson and Mary the Wife of the said Oneal
       Johnson being severally Examined privately and apart
       from their and each of their said Husbands Released ^all^ their
       Right and Title to the within severall tracts of Land and
       every of them unto the said John Brice his Heirs and Assignes
       for ever and that they did the same willingly and freely
       without being Induced thereto by Fears or Threats of or ill
       usage from their said husbands or any of them or fear of their
       or any of their displeasure according to the Directions of the
       Act of Assembly aforesaid

       Reced of John Brice the Sum of thirty Seven Pounds ten
       shillings Current Money being the Consideration within
       mentioned this 19.th Day of Dec.r 1741   P
