Ex.d To all to whom these Presents shall come
       Greeting, Know ye that Whereas William Cumming Michael
       Macnemara and Samuel Soumaine all of the City of Annapolis Gent
       on the Day of the Date of these Presents at the especial Instance &
       Request of Paul Ruiz of Ann Arundell County Merchant have entred
       into a certain Bond or Obligation bearing equal Date herewith in the
       penal Sum of five hundred Pounds Sterling jointly & severally with the
       af.d Paul Ruiz as principal to John Darnall Gentleman High Sheriff
       of Ann Arundell County Conditioned that if the said Paul Ruiz
       shall make his personal Appearance at the next Provincial Court to
       be held at the City of Annapolis on the second Tuesday of April next to
       answer unto John Taillor of the City of London Merchant in a
       Plea of Trespass on the Case as by the said Bond relation thereto had
       will appear   And Whereas at the Time of the serving the Process
       af.d there was a certain Declaration delivered to the af.d Paul Ruiz
       setting forth that the af.d Paul Ruiz had taken & converted to his own
       Use the following six Negroes namely Peter, Moll, Peter, Charles, Golah
       Jack & Sarah of the Price of five hundred & twenty Pounds Sterling
       to all which Negroes aforesaid the said Paul Ruiz claims right & Property
       Now Know all Men by these Presents that I Paul Ruiz of Ann
       Arundell County in the Province of Maryland Merchant for &
       in Consideration that as well the said William Cumming Michael Macnemara
       & Samuel Soumaine became Sureties for me the said Paul
       Ruiz my Personal Appearance at the Provincial Court af.d & as well for
       their Indemnification from all Costs & Charges whatsoever accruing on
       their the said William Cumming Michael Macnemara & Samuel Soumaine
       becoming Sureties for me the said Paul Ruiz as for the Sum of five
       Shillings Sterling Money to me in hand paid before Sealing & Delivery
       hereof I the said Paul Ruiz Have by these Presents Bargained &
       sold unto the said William Cumming Michael Macnemara & Samuel Soumaine
       the af.d six Negroes named Peter, Moll, Peter, Charles, Golah Jack,
       & Sarah and also two other Negroe Men Carpenters by Trade purchased
       by me the said Paul Ruiz of a certain Taillor Higgenson Attorney in fact
       of John Taillor Merchant in London aforesaid & one other Negroe
