230) therein mentioned to be the Sole Right & Title of the above said George Attwood for the Uses and Intents as are Expressed and Limited within the said Deed without any Coertion Threats ill usage or Fear of the Displeasure of her said Husband Robert Gordon Recorded April the 22.d 1741 10 1/2 Reced of M.r George Attwood for his Lordships Use Ten Shillings Ster being the alienation fyne on the within Lands 2.d May 1741 Benj.a Tasker X.d This Indenture Made the Twenty Second Day of April in the year of Our Lord One Thousand seven Hundred and Forty One Between George Attwood of Prince Georges County in the Province of Maryland Gentleman of the one Part and Andrew Scott of Prince Georges County aforesaid the said Province Chyrurgeon of the other Part Witnesseth that the said George Attwood for and in Consideration of the sum of Fifty Five Pounds Sterling Money to Him the said George Attwood in Hand paid at or before the Ensealing and Delivery of these presents the Receipt whereof the said George Attwood doth hereby Ackowledge and Him the said Andrew Scott of every part and Parcell thereof doth hereby acquit and Discharge He the said George xxx Attwood Hath Granted Bargained sold Aliened Released and Confirmed and by these presents Doth Grant Bargain Sell Alien Release and Confirm unto the said Andrew Scott His Heirs and Assignes for ever All that Share or Part of a Tract of Land called Friendship taken up between the late Colonel Thomas Addison and a Certain William Hutchinson deceased containing Four Hundred and Twenty five Acres more or less lying |
