226) Right of the said within named George Attwood his Heirs and Assigns without any Coertion Threats or Ill usage of her said Husband or Fear of his Displeasure Taken and Acknowledged the Day and year above written before me Stephen Knight Recorded April the 22.d 1741 6 1/2 Reced of M.r George Attwood for his Lordships Use seventeen shillings sterl being for the Alienation fyne of the within Land 2.d May 1741 Benj.a Tasker X.d This Indenture made the Twentyeth Day of April in the year of our Lord One Thousand seven Hundred and Forty One Between Andrew Scott of Prince Georges County Chirurgeon and Mary his wife One of the Daughters and Devisees of William Hutchinson late of the said County deceased of the one Part and George Attwood of the County aforesaid Gentleman of the Other Part Witnesseth that the said Andrew Scott and Mary his wife for and in Consideration of the sum of Five Shillings Current Money to him the said Andrew in Hand paid the Receipt whereof He the said Andrew Scott doth hereby acknowledge and of every part and parcell thereof Doth Acquit and Discharge the said George Attwood and for divers other Good Considerations them hereunto Moveing They the said Andrew Scott and Mary his wife have Granted Bargained Sold Aliened Released and Confirmed and by these presents Do Grant Bargain Sell Alien Release and Confirm unto the said George Attwood his Heirs and Assigns for Such Uses Intents and purposes as shall be hereafter mentioned Limited and Appointed All that Tract or Parcell of Land called the Vineyard containing and Laid out for One Hundred and Fifty Acres more or less |
