196 Account for all & every ^other^ branch & branches of our Revenue within our said Province whether the same be or grow due by particular Contract Conditions of Plantation Act or Acts of Assembly or by Virtue of our Royalties Rights Priviledges and Prerogatives within the said Province And for the better & more Effectual Execution of the said Powers & Authorities hereby Granted We do further authorize him the said Daniel Dulany to give Such Directions & Orders to the Naval Officers of our said Province (who by an Instruction formerly sent Captain Hart our Lieuten.t Govern.r were to be our Shipping Officers for the receiving & collecting our Duties arising by Exportation of Tobacco as also the Duty of Tunnage of Ships) as he the said Daniel Dulany shall think fitt And the said Shipping Officers are hereby required to obey him accordingly Hereby ordering & requiring him the said Daniel Dulany to remit unto us for our proper use by the first & safest opportunities all such Moneys Effects or Bills of Exchange as shall arise grow due or be received by or from our said Shipping Officers or any other Persons on all or any of the af.d Branches of our Revenue And upon Receipt of any Money Bills of Exchange or other Effects sufficient Discharges & Acquittances to give & sign to the person or persons Concerned or owing such Moneys Effects & Bills of Exchange And ^Generally^ to Act do & Perform fullfill & accomplish all & every other Act & Acts thing and things requisite & necessary for the Due Execution performance and justly discharging the severall respective Offices Powers and Authorities hereby given & Granted him or intended to be given and granted him And We do hereby ratifye Confirm & hold for good Effectual & Valid whatsoever the said Daniel Dulany shall lawfully do or cause to be done in the Premisses notwithstanding any Insufficiency or Defect n the Words Expressions Clauses or Sentences of this our Commission And althô every particular matter strictly requisite be not therein Strictly Expressed And we do hereby revoke annull and make void all former & other Commissioners Powers & Authorities touching the Premisses by Us or our Authority heretofore granted to any other Person or Persons whatsoever And this our Commission and the Powers herein granted is to Continue in force during our Pleasure and no Longer Witness our Trusty and Wellbeloved Samuel Ogle Esq.r Governour of our said Province this twenty Ninth Day of September in the Nineteenth Year of our Dominion &c Anno q.r Domini 1739 5 1/2 Sam Ogle The Great Seal in Wax Appendant |
