193) Our Lord One thousand Seven hundred & forty Sealed & Delivered being duely John Philpot seal Stampt in the P.rsence of Alexander Inglish Rob.t Holliday Arth.r Lone Bowman Not Pub 1740 Nov.r 22 1740 Then Came Alex.r Inglish & Robert Holliday the two Subscribing Evidences as above And made Oath upon the Holy Evangelist of Almighty God that they See John Philpot Sign Seal & Deliver the Above Power of Attorney Sworn to before me Recorded Nov.r y.e 24.th 1740 Rob.t Gordon 6 Ex.d This Indenture made this first day of September in the year of our Lord Seventeen hundred and forty Between Jacob Mathias Minister of Prince Georges County of the one part and Henry Jinn of the same Place of the other part Whereas the said Jacob Mathias Minister has inlisted himself in his Majesties Service in the Expedition against some of the Catholick Kings Territories in the West Indies and therefore in order to Settle and Improve the following Part or Parcel of Land This Indenture Witnesseth that the Said Jacob for the Consideration Aforesaid as Also for the writs and Servited Revin aformentioned he the Said Jacob hath Given Granted Bargained Sold to farm he then and by these Presents Doth Give Gran bargain Sell and unto farm lett unto him the said Henry Jinn all that ^tract^ or Parcell of Land Called Jacobs Fortune lying & being in the County af.d Containg two Hundred & forty two Acres as by Patant thereof on record in his Lordships Land Office Appears To have & to hold the Said Tract of Land and all and Singular the Improvements thereon being to him the Said Henry Jinn his Extors Adm.rs and Assigns for and during the hold ^whole^ term of time that the said Jacob shall be out of this |
