181) October 15.th 1740 Came before me the Subscriber one of his Lordships Justices of the Prov.l Court the within mentioned Joseph Ennalls & Mary his Wife & Acknowledged the w.thin Instrument as their Act & Deed & the Land & Premisses therein mentioned to be the right & Estate of the within John Bickerton his heirs & Assigns for ever According to Law Taken & Acknowledged the Day & Year above mentioned before me Henry Hooper Reced of the within John Bickerton for the use of the Right Honourable the Lord Baltimore four Shillings Sterling being for the Alienation Fine of w.thin Lands this third Nov.r 1740 Benj.a Tasker Recorded Nov.r 3.d 1740 7 1/2 Ex.d This Indenture made the thirty first Day of October in the Year of Our Lord One thousand Seven hundred & forty Between Peter Johnson of Baltimore County in the Province of Maryland Boatwright of the one Part and the Revn.d Benedict Bourdillon Clerk Rector of S.t Pauls Parish in Baltimore County af.d of the other Part Witnesseth that the said Peter Johnson for & in Consideration of the Sum of Fifty Pounds Sterling to him in hand paid at or before the Ensealing & Delivery of these Presents the Receipt whereof he the said Peter Johnson does hereby Acknowledge & of Every Part & Parcell thereof fully freely & Absolutely Acquit & Discharge the said Benedict Bourdillon hath granted Bargained Sold Aliened transferred and Confirmed & by these Presents do grant Bargain Sell Alien Transfer & Confirm (for) |
