       does & shall well & truly Indemnifie and Save Harmless the said John
       Reynolds by Means of his being Security as af.d then This Indenture &
       Every Article Clause & thing herein Contained shall Ceace determine
       & be Void any thing herein to the Contrary Notwithstanding In Witness
       whereof the said Enoch Conly has hereunto Set his hand & Seal the day
       & year first above Written

       Robert Gordon     On the Back of the aforegoing deed was thus Indorst ^Viz.t^
       Tho.s Gough     June the 11.th 1740 Came the within Named Enoch Conley
                            before me the Subscriber one of his Lordships Justices
                        of the Provincial Court the within Named Enoch Conley &
                    Acknowledged the Within Instrument as his Act & Deed
                and the Land & Premisses therein Contained to be the Right of
            the Within Named John Reynolds his heirs & Assigns for Ever

Ex.d Maryland fs   Know all men by these Presents that I Samuel
       Peele Late of Salem in new England but now Resident in Ann Arundell County
       in the Province of Maryland Ship joyner for & in Consideration of the Sum
       of three hundred & Sixty Pounds Curr.t money by me in hand received
       before the Ensealing and Delivery of these Presents the receipt where of
       I do hereby Acknowledge have Assigned Constituted Ordained and appointed
       & by these Presents do Assigne Constitute ordain & appoint my Brother
       Roger Peele Late of Salem af.d but now Resident in Ann.ll County af.d Shipwright
       my true & Lawfull Attorney in my name but to the only Proper
       use of him the Said Roger Peele his Heirs Ex.rs adm.rs & Assigns to demand
       & Receive of William Peele administrator of my two Uncles Samuel
       & Robert Peele Late of London Town Gentleman Deced all Such Sum or
                                                                                                             Sums
