Ex.d Be it Known unto all men by these Presents that we Edmund by
       Divine Permission Bishop of London by the Aid and Assistance
       of Almighty God holding an Ordination on Wednesday the Sixth
       Day of August in the year of our Lord Seventeen hundred & thirty
       five in the Chapel Royal at White Hall Westmi^n^ster in the County
       of Middle Sex did According to the Manner & Rights of the
       Church of England in this behalf made & Provided Admit and
       Promote into the holy Order of Deacon our beloved in Christ William
       Brogden being Very well Recommended to us for his exemplary Life
       good Morals & Virtuous qualities & well Instructed in the Study &
       & knowledge of Sound Learning & Sufficiently Intituled Examined
       & Approved he having first before us Subscribed the Articles & taken
       the Oaths which in this Case are by Law required to be Subscribed
