16) intents Constructions and Purposes ^whatsoever^ as we might or Could do if Personally present ratifying and by these Presents Confirming all and whatsoever our said Attorney shall lawfully do or Cause to be done in and about the Premisses by Virtue of these Presents In Witness Whereof We have hereunto set our hands and seals this Second Day of October in the Year of our Lord God One thousand Seven hundred thirty and five October 7.th 1735 Robert Seal Mitchell October 2.d 1735 Sealed Signed and Mary Seal Mitchell Ann Oates Seal Delivered by Robert Mitchel and Mary Witness Richard Street Mitchell in the Presence of Ann Bland David Coates To which aforegoing Power of Attorney John Hebden was annext as follows viz.t David Coates of Morton in the Parish of Bingley in the County of York Yeoman aged forty Seven Years maketh Oath that he this Deponent was Present and Did See Robert Mitchell and Mary his Wife Sign and Seal and as their Act and Deed deliver the Paper Writing or instrument hereunto annexed bearing Date the Second Day of October instant Purporting to be a Letter of Attorney from the said Robert Mitchell and Mary his Wife and Ann Oates of the Parish of Saint Mary le Bow London to Isaac Holmes of Kildwick Clockmaker And this Deponent saith that John Hepden was also then present and that he this Deponent together with the said John Hebden did Subscribe their Names as Witnesses to the Execution of the said Letter of Attorney by the said Robert Mitchell and Mary Mitchell and Saith that the Names of this Deponent and of the said John Hebden subscribed as Witnesses to the Execution of the said Letter of Attorney are of this Deponents and of the said John Hebdens proper hand Writing respectively Sworn to at Leeds the David Coates Eleventh Day of October in the Year of our Lord 1734 before me Tho Mic Klethwait Mayor Burrough of Leeds I Thomas Micklethwait Esquire Mayor of the Burrough in the County of aforesaid do hereby Certifye all whom it doth or may York Concern that David Coates in the above written affidavit named did this Day voluntarily come before me and did take his Corporall Oath upon the Holy Evangelist that the Contents of the above written Affidavit is true In Testimony ^whereof^ I have hereunto set my hand and Caused the common Seal of the said Burrough to be affixed the Eleventh Day of October in the Year of our Lord One thousand and Seven hundred and thirty five |
