       On the back of the aforegoing Instrument of Writing was thus
       Endorst viz.t
       Ann Arrund.ll Co.ty fs.t               June 28.th 1740

                               Then Came the within Doc.r Thomas Watkins
       before me the Subscriber one of his Lordships Justices of the Peace
       for the said County & Acknowledged ^the^ within bargained Premisses
       to be the Right of the within Named William Mathews his
       heirs & assigns

Ex.d Maryland fs.t This Indenture made this Eighteenth Day of July
       Anno Dom One thousand Seven hundred & forty Between William
       Peele of London ^Town^ in Ann Arundell County Merchant of the one
       Part & William Cumming of the City of Annapolis & County af.d Gent
       & Richard Snowden of the County af.d Merchant of the other Part
       Witnesseth that Whereas the said William Cumming & Richard
       Snowden at the Special Instance & request of the af.d William
       Peele as Principal together with John Welsh Richard Hill & Robert
       Peele as Securities became bound Joyntly & Severally with the s.d
       William Peele to the Right Honble the Lord Propry of this Province
       in the Sum of thirty thousand Pounds Sterling Money in a
       certain Bond or Obligation bearing Date the Second Day of
       July Anno Dom One thousand Seven hundred thirty & three
       Conditioned that if the said William Peele Administrator of the
       Goods & Chattles of Samuel Peele his Brother Deced should make
       a true & perfect Inventory of the Goods & Chattles of the Deceased
       together with a List of Sperate & Desperate Debts & return the Same
