131) That he the said John Steelman his heirs Ex.rs or Adm.rs the said Tract of Land & all & Singular other the Premisses with their & every of their Appurtenances unto the said Stephen Onion his heirs or Assigns against him the said John Steelman his heirs or any other Person or Persons Claiming shall & will Warrant & for ever Defend by these Presents And also that he the said John Steal Steelman hereafter at the reasonable request & Proper Charges of the said Stephen Onion his heirs or Assigns will Execute & Acknowledge any other Deed or Deeds Pursuant to the Intent & true meaning hereof for the Perfecting & settling the said Tract of Land upon y.e said Stephen Onion his heirs & Assigns for ever in Witness whereof the said John Steelman hath hereunto set his hand & Seal the Day & Year first within Written his Sealed & Delivered in John H Steelman seal the Presence of us Mark Geo Buchanan W Bond Luke Stansbury On the Back & at the foot of the aforegoing Deed was thus Indorst Be it rembered that now on this twenty third Day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand Seven hundred & forty Comes the within Mentioned John Steelman before us the Subscribers being two of his Lordships Justices of the Peace for Baltimore County and Acknowledged the within mentioned land & Premisses to be the Right Interest and Title of the within Mentioned Stephen Onion his heirs & Assigns for ever according to the True Intent & Meaning of the within Deed which said Acknowledgment was taken the day & year aforesaid by us according to the form of the Act of Assembly in Such Cases made and Provided as Witness our hands Geo Buchanan W Bond |
