121) Herein before mentioned Now this Indenture Witnesseth that the Said John Parish for & in Consideration of One hundred & forty One pounds Seventeen Shillings & four pence Sterling & Seventy Six pounds Curr by the said Charles ^to^ him in hand paid the receipt whereof he doth hereby Acknowledge & thereof & of every part & parcell thereof doth acquit & Discharge the said Charles Carroll Hath Given granted bargained Sold made over & confirmed & by these Presents doth Freely and Absolutely give grant bargain Sell make over & confirm unto the Said Charles Carroll the Dwelling Plantation of him the said John Parish mentioned & described in the last Will & Testament of the said Edward Parish Father of the said John & all the Land below it Next Adjacent being part of Parishes Range & One hundred & Twenty Acres part of Parishes Fear & four hundred Acres being the Moyety of Eight hundred Acres devised to the said William Parish as afores.d out of Parish's Range together with all Houses Edifices buildings Improvements Profits Commodities & Advantages whatsoever to the Premisses or any part thereof belonging or Appertaining or Deemed Accepted Reputed or taken as part parcell or member thereof To have & to hold to him the said Charles Carroll his heirs & Assigns for ever to his & their own use & behoof & to no other use intent or purpose Whatsoever And the said John Parish for himself & his heirs doth Covenant Grant & agree to & with the said Charles Carroll his heirs & Assigns that he & they shall & may from time to time & at all times hereafter Quietly & Peaceably have hold Possess & Enjoy all & Singular the Bargained Premisses with their & every of their Appurtenances without any lett Molestation hindrance disturbance of him the said John Parish his heirs or Assigns or any person whatsoever claiming from by or under him And that the same Bargained Premisses with their & every of their Appurtenances shall be well & Sufficiently Warranted & Defended by the said John Parish & his heirs to the said Charles Carroll his heirs or Assigns for ever against all Charges & Incumbrances the Quit Rents hereafter to grow due only Excepted & foreprized (And) |
