(95) of the Goods Chattles of all persons already Deceased or hereafter Deceasing as to any Goods or Chattles which they have or shall have within the said Province of Maryland And in all the Incidencies and Emergencies thereunto belonging or thereupon ariseing and in all Matters concerning Exhibiting ^the^ Inventorys or Accounts upon the making Probate of any such Will or Wills or Granting of any Letters of Administration and of all and every the Rights and Appurtenances thereunto belonging at the Suit or Instance of any person or persons having or pretending to have Interest and to proceed and Determine Sentance and Decree and Adjudge the same and every of them and to Administer Right and Justice to all and every person therein according to the Laws in such Cases and according to the Usage and Customs of the said Province of Maryland And we Do also hereby Grant unto you all other Powers and priviledges Right and Jurisdictions Lawfully belonging to a Court for making Probate of Wills and Granting Letters of Administration as aforesaid and all Due and Just fees profits and Emoluments Belonging to a Judge of such a Court which have been heretofore paid & taken or which shall hereafter be settled and appointed by us or by or with our Assent Saving to all and every person or persons that shall Conceive them selves agrieved their Lawful Appeals to us or in our absence to our Governour of the said Province or otherwise as the Laws of our said Province have or shall provide or to such other person or persons as we or our said Governour shall appoint to hear and Determine the same To have Hold Exercise and Enjoy the said Office of Judge and Commissary General aforesaid in our said Province of Maryland unto You our said Counceller and so to remain and Continue Doe and Excircise all and singular the Premisses till we shall signifie our Will and Pleasure to the Contrary And Lastly we Do by these Presents Revoke Repeal and make Void all former Commissions Given or Granted to any person or persons whatsoever Strickly commanding and requiring all persons of what Degree and Condition so ever to pay ready and Due Obedience hereto as they will answer the Contrary at their Peril Given under our hands and Greater Seal at Arms The twenty ninth Day of January in the fourth Year of the Reign of our Soveriegn Lord King George the second and in the Sixteenth Year of our Dominion over the said province Annoq Domini One Thousand seven hundred and Thirty great Secretary By his Lordships Command Seal in wax Cæcil.s Calvert Appendent |
