(85) By this Publick Instrument of procuration or Letter of Attorney be it known & manifest unto all those who shall see these presents or hear the Same Read that on the thirteenth day of January Anno Dom 1731 and in the fifth year of the Reigne of Our Sovereign Lord George the Second by the Grace of God of Great Brittain France & Ireland King Defend.r of the Faith &c Before me James Clement Notary & Tabellion Publick Dwelling in London by Royall Authority Duly admitted & sworne and Witnesses Personally appeared M.rs Mary Woodward of London Widow one of the Sisters Coheirs and Joint Administratrix to the Estate both Real & personall of M.r Amos Garrett Late of Maryland Merchant Deceased with Elizabeth Ginn of London Widow the other Sister of the Said Amos Garrett as by Letters of Administration under the seale of the prorogative Court of Canterbury bearing Date the Twenty Ninth day of July Anno Dom One Thousand Seven Hundred and Twenty Eight may appear Which Said appearer Declared to have made Ordained Constituted Authorised & Appointed and by these Presents Doth make Ordain Constitute Authorize and Appoint M.r Amos Woodward of Annapolis ^in Maryland^ Merch.t her true & Lawfull attorney Revokeable for her & in her name and to her use to Bargain sell assigne Transferr Remise Release Enfeoff and Confirm & set over unto any person or persons Whatsoever all and singular her moiety or half part of all and every the Tract or Tracts of Land plantations Houses Edificies Messuages Tenements & Premisses thereon Erected Together with all and singular her moiety or Half part of the Stock thereon subsisting & appurtenances thereunto belonging which the Said Amos Garrett Dyed possessed of interested in or intituled unto scituate and being in any part or place in Maryland aforesaid and which hath Descended and now of right Belongs to her the Said Constituant and that for the most and best Consideration or Considerations as her said Attorney shall be able to get or procure for the same and thereupon to make sign seale and Duly execute all such acts writings Conveyances & assurances in the Law whatsoever as purchaser or purchasers of the same or any part thereof or his or their Councill Learned in the Law shall reasonably Devise Advise or require and after execution and Delivery of all such acts & wrightings as af.d to yield surrender and Deliver up Quiet and peaceable possession thereof or any part thereof to such purchaser or purchasers and to Receive such Considerations or purchase Money for the same or any part thereof And Generally in and Concerning the Premisses to do Perform and Execute all and whatsoever shall be requisite and necessary as full amply and effectually to all intents (Constructions) |
