(84) To all to whom these Presents shall Come Wee Francis Child Esq.r Lord Mayor and the Aldermen of the City of London send Greeting Know ye that on the day of the Date hereof in the Kings Majesties Court holden before us in the Chamber of the Guild hall of the same City personally came & appeared James Dunnidge ^of London^ Notary Publick being a person well known and worthy of good Creditt and did by solemn Oath which he took upon the holy Evangilists of Almighty God then & there before us solemnly Declare Testifie and Depose to be true in the Words and Manner following as by the Originall Deposition remaining on Record may appear Viz.t James Dunnidge of London Notary Publick maketh Oath that he this Deponent was present and did see M.rs Elizabeth Ginn of London Widow sign seal & as her Act and Deed in due forme of Law execute and deliver the instrument of procuration or Letter of Attorney hereunto annexed & now to him this Deponent produced fair and uncancelled to and for the usses intents and purposes therein Mencond and that he this Deponent Did in Testimony thereof sign or subscribe his name as a Witness thereto And this Deponent Doth further Depose and say that the two other Witnesses were also present at the execution thereof & did sign or subscribe their names as evidences thereto in presence of him this Deponent In Faith and Testimony whereof we the Said Lord Mayor and Aldermen have Caused the seale of the Office of Mayoralty Of the said City to be hereunto putt & affixed Dated in London the Twenty second day of January 1731 & in y.e fifth year of the Reign of King George the Second of Great Brittain &c Defender of the faith &c Smith June the 29.th 1732 Then Came before me the Subscriber one of his Lordships Justices of the Provinciall Court of Maryland Cap.t Rob.t Walker one of the subscribing Evidences to the foregoing Letter of Attorney who being one of the people Called Quakers takes his Test in usual forme that that he saw the above named Elizabeth Ginn signe seale and Deliver the foregoing Letter of Attorney as her Act and Deed to the uses therein Mencond 9 1/2 sides Taken & acknowledged before me the day and year above (Recorded July y.e 5.th 1732) Cha Hammond |
