(82) of the Premisses to the Said Elihu Hall his Heirs or Assignes for Ever In Witness whereof the Said Robert Bradley hath to these Presents put his hand and seal the day & year first above written Robert Bradley seale On the Back of the aforegoing indenture was thus endorst viz.t Sealed and Delivered in March y.e 10.th 1731 Received the presence of us the sume of One Hundred pounds John Smith sterling the Consideration Money Will.m Holland Jun.r within Mencond from y.e within Robert Webber Named Elihu Hall P me £ 100 0.s 0.d Rob.t Bradly Memorandum that on this tenth day of March Anno Domini 1731 Came before me the subscriber being one of the Lord proprietarys Justices of the Provinciall Court of Maryland the within named Robert Bradley & acknowledged the within Deed according to the Directions of the Act of Assembly in such Cases provided at which time Likewise Came Ann the Wife of the Said Robert Bradley and Relinquished all her right and Claim of Dower and being examined apart from her said Husband Declared she was not Compelled to relinquish her Dower by any threats or Cumpulsion of her Husband nor fear of his Displeasure but did the same Voluntarily 8 1/2 sides John Smith (Recorded this 4.th July 1732) By this Publick Instrument of procuration or Letter of Attorney Be it Known and Manifest unto all those who shall see these presents or Hear the same Read that on the thirteenth day of January Anno Domini 1731 And in the fifth year of the Reign of our sovereign Lord George the Second by the grace of God of Great Brittain France and Ireland King Defender of the Faith &c.a before me James Clements Notary ^& Tabillcon^ publick Dwelling in London by Royall Authority Duly admitted and sworn and Witnesses Personally Appeared M.rs Elizabeth Ginn of London Widow One of the Sisters Coheirs and joint administratrix to the estate both Reall & personall of M.r Amos Garrett Late of Maryland Merchant Deceased with Mary Woodward of London Widow the Other sister of the said Amos Garrett as by Letters of Administration under the seal of the preerogative Court of Canterbury bearing date the Twenty Ninth day of July Anno Dom seventeen Hundred Twenty Eight may appear which said (appearer) |
