(76) Memorandum That on the day of the Date of the within Mencond Deed Came before me the subscriber One of His Lordships Justices of the Provinciall Court of Maryland the within Named Richard Snowden who acknowledges the within instrument as his Act and Deed according to the Directions of the Act of Assembly in that Case made and Provided Taken and acknowledged before me the day and year above 7 sides Robert Gordon (Recorded this 10.th of June 1732 x.d This Indenture mad the Twenty sixth day of June Anno Dom seventeen Hundred and Thirty Two Between Gilbert Talbot Israell and Charles Ridgley of Baltemore County Gentlemen of the one part and Charles Carroll of the City of Annapolis surgeon of the other part Whereas John Israell Late of Baltemore County Gent Father of the Said Gilbert Talbot Israell by his Last Will and Testament in Wrighting duly executed and proved Gave and Devised unto the said Gilbert Talbot Israell John Lecon Israell and Robert Israell his three sons severall parcells of Land in the Same Will Mencond Lying in Baltemore County and Containing seven Hundred and fifty four acres to be equally Divided Amongst them when either of them should arrive at the age of Twenty One years as by the Same Will remaining on Record in the Commissarys Office may appear and Whereas the Said Gilbert Talbot Israell on the Twelfth day of October Last Agreed to sell and Convey all the right and title by the said Will of him the said Gilbert Talbot of in and to the Lands aforesaid unto the said Charles Ridgely in Fee Simple but Executed no Conveyance for the same Now this Indenture Witnesseth that the Said Gilbert Talbot Israell with the approbation and Consent of him the said Charles Ridgly Testified by the said Charles his being party to these presents for & in Consideration of the severall sums of Thirty pounds Current Money of Maryland to the said Charles Ridgly in hand paid and five shillings Like money to the said Gilbert Talbot Israell by the said Charles Carroll in hand paid before the ensealing and Delivery of these presents the receipt whereof they hereby acknowledged and themselves therewith to be fully sattisfied Contented and paid Hath Bargained and Sold and by these (Presents) |
