531) Maryland Received of the within Named Benjamin Tasker Esquire three hundred & seventy five Pounds Sterling the Consideration of the within mentioned Premisses Witness my hand this fourth Day of July 1737 Test Levin Hill Maryland fs July the 4.th 1737 Then Came the within Named Levin Hill before me the Subscriber One of his Lordships Justices of the Provinciall Court and Acknowledged the Within Deed to be his Act & Deed for the use of the within Named Benjamin Tasker According to the forme of the Act of Assembly in that Case made & Provided Acknowledged before me the Day & year af.d at half an hour after Eleven a Clock forenoon Robert Gordon Maryland fs July Then Came Hill the wife of the above & within Named Levin Hill before me the Subscriber one of his Lordships Justices of the Provinciall Court who being Privately Examined out of the hearing of her said Husband declared that She Acknowledged the Same Deed Willingly and freely without being Induced thereto by fears or threats of or ill usage of her said Husband or Fear of his Displeasure According to the form of the Act of Assembly in that Case made & Provided Acknowledged before me the Day & Year afores.d July 6 1737 Then Reced for his Lordships the Right Honourable the Lord Baltimore his use ten Shillings & ten Pence Sterling being for the Alienation Fines of the within five hundred & twenty two Acres of Land Benj.a Tasker Recorded July the 6.th 1737 7 Sides |
