522) Deed was ordered to be paid to Margarett Mortimore in the Said Deed mentioned And Whereas the said John Campbell Since the making of the said last mentioned Deed is Deceased And the said Hellen Campbell again Marryed & taken to Husband a Certain James Jackson Now Know all men by these Presents that the said Hellen now the wife of the said James Jackson & formerly Called Hellen Jubb by & with the Consent of her said Husband James Jackson Signifyed by his Signing & Sealing these Presents & by Virtue of the Powers to her Contained & reserved by the said Recited Indented Deed Hath revoked & made void & doth hereby revoke & make Void the Said first mentioned recited Deed & all & Singular Every order Disposition Appointm.t Limitation Gift Devise Sum & Sums of money thereby ordered to be paid to the Severall Persons therein mentioned & all Sums of money therein & thereby Ordered to be laid out & Every other thing therein Contained as if the said first mentioned recited Deed had never been made & without any Exception or Reservation whatsoever In Witness Whereof the said James Jackson and Hellen his Wife have hereunto Set their hands & Seals this fifteenth Day of June Anno Domini 1737 James Jackson seale On the Back of the foregoing Deed was thus Endorst her Viz.t Hellin R Jackson seale Sealed & Delivered mark In the P.rsence of Robert Gordon Eliz.a Bennett Memorand.m on the 15.th Day of June Anno Domini 1737 the within Named James Jackson did Acknowledge the within Deed as his Act & Deed & Hellen the Wife of the said James Out of the hearing of her said Husband being Privately Examined Declared that She Acknowledged the Same Deed Willingly & freely without being Induced thereto by fears or Threats of or ill usage of her s.d Husband According to the form 14 1/2 of the Act of Assembly in that Case made & Provided Acknowledged before me the Day & Year aforesaid Recorded June y.e 20.th 1737 Cash p.d Robert Gordon |
