513) Parish in the County af.d Divers Bills of Creditt Current in Payment by Act of Assembly of this Province of Maryland of the Value of Ten Pounds Current money of Maryland in Bills of Creditt af.d Numbered of the Proper Goods & Chattles of Robert Leshodia Planter in the Mansion House of the said Robert in the Parish & County af.d being then and there out of the same Mansion House then & there feloniously stole Sam Ogle took & Carryed Away Against our Peace Good Rule & Government and Contrary to the form of the Act of Assembly in Such Cases Provided Whereof he was Convict before Our Trusty & Well beloved Robert Gordon & Benjamin Young Esq.rs Our Justices of Oyer & Terminer & Goal Delivery for our said County of Ann Arrundell Nevertheless we Grant Unto him ^our^ firm Peace & will not that he suffer any Corporall Punishment therefore but that he shall Stand and be in the same Plight State & Condition to all Intents & purposes as if the said felony Whereof he the said Thomas Atkinson hath been Convict had Never been Done or Committed Witness Our Trusty & Well beloved Samuel Ogle Esq.r Governour of our Said Province this 11.th Day of May in the Twenty third year of Our Dominion Annoq.r Domini 1737 Great Seal Record.d May 12 1737 in Wax 3 S.ds Appendant x.d This Indenture ^made^ the Tenth Day of May 1737 between Charles Carroll Esq.r of the City of Annapolis of the One Part and William Mordant of Prince Georges County of the Other Part Planter Witnesseth that Whereas the said Will.m Mordant Did by A Deed or Instrument in Writing under his hand & Seal bearing Date the Twenty Ninth Day of January Anno Domini 1724 Convey to the Said Charles Carroll a Certain Tract of Land Called Marjery then & Now in the Possession of the s.d Mordant lying in Prince Georges County Originally Granted on or about The Tenth Day of January Anno Domini Sixteen hundred & Eighty unto Rich.d Gardiner With a Clause or Condition that if the said Mordant his heirs or Assigns Should Pay unto the Said Carroll his heirs or assigns the Sum of Sixty Pounds Sterling with the Interest thereof that then the Above Recited Deed and Every Clause & Article therein Contained Should (be) |
