       have hereunto sett my hand & seal the Twenty Seventh Day of
       January And in the Ninth Year of the Reign of our Sovereign
       Lord George the Second by the Grace of God of Great Britain
       France & Ireland King Defender of the faith and so forth and
       in the Year of our Lord 1735   
       Sealed and Delivered (being               Phill Smith   Seal
       First Duly Stampt)
       In the presence of            On the Back of the aforegoing Letter of
       Stephen West                  Attorney was the following words Indorst Viz.t
       Benj.a Hewitt
       Sam.l Buck                      21.th Day of Aprill 1737
       Sam.l Gray                      Then Came Before Us the Subscribers Two
       of his Lordships Justices of the peace in Ann Arundell County The
       within named Stephen West one of the Subscribing Witnesses to
       the within Letter of Attorney And made Oath on the Holy
       Evangelists of Almighty God that he did see the within Named
       Philip Smith Sen.r The Father party to the within Letter of
       Attorney Signe Seale & Deliver the same as his Act & Deed on the
       Day of the Date thereof And also that he Did then see the
       Three other Subscribing Witnesses Set their Names to the Same
       As Witnesses of the said Execution                  John Davidge

       Speciall Grace We have Pardoned unto Francis Atkinson late
       of Ann Arundell County Labourer as a Proper Object of
       our mercy the suit of our Peace and Whatsoever Appertaineth
       Unto Us for that the said Francis Atkinson heretofore Viz.t
       the Eighteenth Day of December in the Twenty Second Year
       of our Dominion and in the Year of our Lord Seventeen
       hundred & thirty six with force & arms in St Margarets Westminster
