396) Bounded Spanish Oak Stood which was the Original bounded Tree of this Tract of three hundred Acres whereon my Brother John Wooden now Dwells (as by a Deed of Gift from my Father John Wooden to me the s.d Solomon bearing Date the thirteenth of September last Past doth more at Large Appear) And runing thence to the Begining Bounded Hickory of the Seventy Acres af.d Seventy two Degrees East Sixty Perches And thence with the Given Line thereof North three Degrees West Ninety two Perches then South Seventy two Degrees West Sixty three perches & thence with a Streight Line to the begining Trees Containing & Laid out Out for thirty Acres more or Less together with all & Singular the Edifices Improvements Benefits & Advantages thereon or in Anywise thereto Appertaining or belonging To have & to hold the Land & Premisses af.d unto him the s.d John Wilmott his heirs & Assigns for Ever And to the Only Proper use & behoof of him the s.d John Wilmott his heirs & Assigns & to no Other use Intent or Purpose Whatsoever And the s.d Solomon Wooden doth hereby for himself his heirs Ex.rs Adm.rs & Assigns Covenant Promise Grant & And Agree to & with the s.d John Willmott his heirs Ex.rs Adm.rs & Assigns the Land & Premisses af.d According to the Meets & Bounds af.d for ever hereafter Against all manner of Persons Claims Whatsoever (Saving what Shall hereafter Arise or become Due & Payable to his Lordship the Lord Prop.ry of this Province for Rent of the s.d Land) to Warrant & Defend In Testimony whereof the Parties to these Presents have Interchangeably Sett their hands & seals the Day & Year above Written Signed Sealed & Delivered In the Psence of us Soll Wooden Seale Pet Johnson On the Back of the foregoing Deed is Tho.s Johnson Thus Indorst Viz.t Memorandum That on the fourth of October Seventeen hundred & thirty five Came before us the subscribers two of his Lordships Justices of Baltimore County in the Province of Maryland the within Named Solomon Wooden who Acknowledged the within Instrum.t to be his Act & Deed & the Land & Premisses therein Mentioned to be the Right of hte within Mentioned John Willmott his heirs & assigns for ever According to the true Intent & Meaning of the Within Deed & the Act of Assembly in that Case made & Provided & at the same time came Sarah the Wife of the s.d Solomon Wooden & being Privately Examined out of the hearing of her said Husband Declareth that she releaseth her Right of Dower to the Land & Premisses within mentioned And that she makes the same Acknowledgment Willingly freely & without being Inticed thereto (by) |
